2007 Minutes

Meeting called to order at 7:05pm and Review Agenda by Adrienne Seiler
Guest Speaker
Chris Dolan spoke about the Oak Wilt problem in our area. He shared a
presentation and handouts on how to spot symptom, which trees are at risk,
treating choices, and how Oak Wilt spreads.
Minutes
Currie Terry reviewed minutes of 2007 Annual Meeting. Minutes approved
by vote.
One change on minutes MLS fees were not funded to the Secretary as decided
as an alternate solution was found.
Treasurer Report
Yvonne Suttles compared differences in 2007 and 2006 budgets. Differences
were from fewer homes sold in 2007, paid more taxes on interest, spent
$300 for Pavilion project and more expenses with an extra newsletter.
The total balance is $31,914. Budget approved by vote.
Resale/Transfer Homes
Currie Terry reported Great Hills Sections 9 and 10 - had 14 homes sold
and 2 homes on the market.
ACC
Marc Suttles reported we had 18 approvals (7 Landscaping, 4 Construction,
3 Roof, 2 Pool Installations, 1 Fence and 1 Painting). We also had 9 Correction
Requests (6 Unkempt Grounds, 2 Trailer Parking and 1 Street Parking.
GHHA Current Officers and New Open Office Positions
Adrienne Seiler introduces 2007’s board members and shared open positions
giving time at the end of the meeting for volunteering and questions.
Member that will be leaving the board are Phil Mathis, Currie Terry and
Kristi Puls. Kristi will do one last newsletter before her leave around
June of 2008. 2007 officers were

Block captain volunteers filled most open spots. Reena Kaven will take
Ivy Hills, Jenave Isaacs has painted Valley and Jeanne Payne has San Soucci.
2 spots remain open.
Current Issues and New Items from floor
Great Hills Park Pavilion Update – The Pavilion is up. Chairs can be accessed
by making a reservation. Tables should arrive this spring. Reservations
can be made at reservations@greathillspark.org or by calling Elaine Heinze
at 219-7147. Volunteers for the Park Committee are always needed. Contact
Marie Laing at mlaing@wt.net
No new items from floor.
Next Meeting
The next Board meeting will be held at Michael Writes home 5710 Painted
Valley Drive on February 19th, 7 pm. The Board meets on the second Tuesday
of the month. Look at the web-site for dates and locations. All homeowners
are welcome to attend.
